Privacy Policy
PocketTap is designed to keep your files close without collecting them.
English
Summary
PocketTap does not create an account, show advertising, track you, or send your files to the developer. Files you add are stored locally in the app’s shared container so the app, Share Extension, and widgets can access them on your device.
Files and local data
When you explicitly share a file or photo to PocketTap, the app saves a local copy. PocketTap also stores the minimum metadata needed to show and open that item, including its display name, file type, added date, order, identifier, and a small thumbnail when available.
This content stays on your device. PocketTap does not upload it to a developer-operated server.
Purchases
PocketTap Pro is processed by Apple through StoreKit. PocketTap reads Apple-verified entitlement information to determine whether Pro features are available. The developer does not receive or store your payment card details.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
PocketTap does not include third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or cross-app tracking. PocketTap does not sell or share personal data.
Retention and deletion
You can remove an item from PocketTap at any time; its saved copy and cached thumbnail are then deleted from PocketTap storage. Removing the app deletes its local app data according to iOS system behavior. Apple may retain purchase records under its own policies.
Children
PocketTap does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes
If PocketTap’s data practices change, this policy will be updated before the relevant app update is released. The effective date above identifies the current version.
